1. I noticed that the basic security is enchanced by registration to prevent someone from reposting a review on an item over and over again. I think this is great, but what if someone just reregistered over and over to review an item over and over under different names. Is their any safeguards against that?

2) A. I also was considering allowing people to rate my items without registering. Would that be possible?

B. And if that is possible, what safe guards are there to prevent some one from voting over and over again?

Thank you.

When registering the script checks to see that the user has not already registered with the same email address.

Yes

There are no safeguards at the moment. Wouldn't be too hard to block it with a cookie.

LAST SECURITY QUESTION

1. Lets say I decide to go with the reviews were users have to register with a valid email. One security safe guard you mentioned was the script checks for duplicate email addresses, which is a great.

However, what if someone just decides to reregister under a new email and new id. Does the script offer IP Blocking or Checking to make sure they do not review a item more than once under a certain ip address?

2. And if yes to above, is their any major conflicts of interest with IP address checking as far as valid reviews being block or so on?

Thank you again.

Someone could register with a new username and new email address. However, if they then attempt to make a review on the same item they will be blocked by IP address. In fact, there is a configuration setting where you can choose to allow someone to make more than one review on an item. This is handy while you're testing the script.
