My name is Zach, I work for David Elkus. I see where the files have been put on eTuxedo's server, but we never got any instrustions for placing the script on each item pages. Just to clarify, the pages this script is being put on don't have to be php, right? Zach |

Hello,
As an example, take a look at this: http://www.defend.net/products/focus_mitt_video.php There is a link on that page that takes you to the gift helper script. You can place a link and image on any page you'd like. Hope that helps. Tim |

I'm still having a lot of problems with the script. I used the coding from the page you sent me, but neither gift_hint nor gift_hint 2 reflect the item name I specify in the link. Neither does the email generated.
The email also does not generate the correct image because the image link goes to review-script.com, not etuxedo.com and I have used my own images, so I need to have it go to my site where they are stored. Finally, when I click on the link generated on the e-mail, it goes to my own yahoo account page, not the product page it's supposed to. I've been trying to customize the gift_hint page to reflect more occasions than just Christmas, but I haven't touched gift_hint2 and I don't even know what file to edit for the email generator. So that you can get a better view of the problems I'm having, you can see my coding at http://www.etuxedo.com/2b_tuxedo.htm Thanks for looking into this. Zach |

There are still two problems with the script:
In the generated e-mail, The text link underneath the image doesn't work. In Yahoo, it simply goes to the Yahoo Mail homepage. IN Entourage (an e-mail program similar to Outlook) the link simply does nothing. Also, the image that the user chooses shows up in the e-mail, but there is different text with each image. No matter which image is chosen, however, the text for the fourth one (Happy Holidays) is the only one that shows up. Please look into these. Thanks, Zach |
